India is truly a different world altogether. While visiting India as a western tourist the first thing that strikes one are the numbers . There are too many cars, pedestrians, shops, and hawkers. All this can be a bit intimidating in the beginning. However India has a medical tourism industry that is strongly backed by the Government and is home to some of the best surgeons in various branches of medicine.
