Visa Details
India is one of the few countries where entry of western travelers is subject to acquiring a proper visa. Following documents are required to procure an Indian visa.
- Original passport valid for at least six months
- Correct visa fee
- Two Recent passport-size photographs
- Supporting documents, where necessary
- Duly completed application form
Once the necessary papers are collected they have to be submitted to Consular Division, of the Mission of India office in your city or can be handed over to a travel agent for the same. If visa is granted the passport is mailed back to the owner’s address. There is no provision of visa on arrival in India so please ensure that you have a valid one before boarding your flight.

Mumbai – The financial capital of India Mumbai is home to India’s largest stock exchange. Many of the Indian conglomerates also have their home offices in Mumbai. Mumbai also hosts the very colorful Indian film industry. The Gateway of India, Haji Ali Mosque and the fort area are places you might consider visiting in Bombay.
Bangalore – Often called the Silicon valley of India, Bangalore is home to the Indian IT giants who have created quite a stir in the western world. If you have worked in the new technology sector chances are that you have been to Bangalore already. The palaces and gardens of Bangalore are worth a visit, so if you recover sufficiently, do go around the city on a sight seeing tour and visit the Lal Bagh, CubbornPark or Tipu’s palace.
Chennai – A southern city of India, Chennai is one of the Metros and has a long coast line. The people of southern India being very devout, Chennai has some spectacular Hindu Temples worth visiting.
